That's really helpful. Thanks. I've got a large Palmer and I'm looking for an additional 4 pedal size board. My new, rechargeable PS is literally a large factor.
Interesting song name…
The world was a stage, a grotesque vaudeville where the absurd reigned supreme. We were players, trapped in a cyclical script of laughter and grease. Sanford and Son, Harlem Nights, and the rhythmic genius of Dr. Dre were our bibles, our guiding lights. We'd mimic their cadences, their gestures, our homes echoing with a bizarre fusion of comedy gold and hip-hop royalty. Jazz, a mournful dirge, counterpointed the farce. Its wailing notes, a desperate plea against the encroaching madness. Professional basketball, a brief respite, a flicker of hope in the desolate landscape. We'd cheer, our voices hoarse, our hearts momentarily lifted. The slam dunks, the buzzer beaters, offered fleeting escapes from the mundane. Hip hop, amplified by Dr. Dre's beats, pulsed through our veins, a manic energy that threatened to consume us. Newport cigarettes, a constant companion, a nicotine-stained crutch. Fried chicken, a greasy comfort, a temporary balm against the existential void. It was a symphony of excess, a cacophony of the absurd. We were performers without an audience, clowns without a circus. The lines between reality and performance blurred, until the world became one giant, grotesque stage. Then came the change. A subtle shift, a darkening of the edges. Laughter turned to cackles, the jazz grew discordant, a screeching cacophony. The basketball games became battles, the players transforming into demonic figures, their skills twisted into weapons of terror. Dr. Dre's beats mutated into a hypnotic, mind-controlling rhythm. The cigarettes, no longer a comfort, but a bitter necessity. The fried chicken, a putrid feast. Our reflections twisted, distorted, mirroring the decay within. We became caricatures of ourselves, our eyes burning with an unnatural light. The world outside, once a vibrant tapestry, faded to monochrome. People, once familiar, transformed into grotesque shadows. The laughter, once contagious, became a haunting echo. The music, once a solace, a torment. The sports, a bloodlust. The food, a poison. We were trapped, consumed by our own creation. The stage was set, the final act beginning. A world of demons, birthed from the ashes of our absurd performance. And so, the chaos erupted. Cities, once bustling hubs of humanity, became battlegrounds of the damned. The familiar transformed into monstrous, echoing shells of their former selves. The allure of consumerism, once a driving force, dissipated as Walmart, the behemoth of consumption, shuttered its doors, a symbol of a world order crumbling. In the end, there was only the grotesque performance, the unending play of madness, a world consumed by its own absurd creation.
Boss ms-3 and mooer ocean machine can?
"It was the most liberating feeling any human could ever feel, and I was the only one in history that could feel it. Floating in zero gravity outside the ship, well past the reach of the Sun, radio turned off for now. Out here, alone but surrounded by infinite cosmos. My eyes could only perceive a fraction of everything going on around me in this darkness, but it was enough. Once that initial moment of existential terror left, to be replaced by an pure serenity. It was like being cradled by the very hands of the universe to drift."
Amazing!
Life saving video! I was about to sell the camera...
Glad that it was useful! All the best!
Love my MS-3. This makes me curious about the HX stomp, I hear good things about it. Great video!
Thanks for watching!
Just bought this camera and thought it was broken or something. Thanks for the video
Glad it was useful!
Thank you so much! I’d been looking for this for far too long
Single coil would fit if you ever wanted to do that. They have conversion rings for pretty cheap. I have one in a guitar. The Bluesbucker sounds pretty good though and bucks the hum.
Thanks, not tried the conversion slots yet, but might have a go!
Nice!
Thanks
Thank you for giving the answer right at the start!
Thanks!
Thank you!!
thanks!! how come I've been doing this so long and never known about this feature???? Do you know if there is a way to also link the plug-in-settings on the same slot for different channels? Say I have 6 background vocals that all use the g-channel-strip and I change it on one of the channels because I found a better setup, can I link the instances to reflect the same settings? That would be insanely useful to scroll through pre-sets on multiple channels at once. I heard pro tools can do that
Thanks Mr. Bruce

U juat saved me to be in a service centre ! I was really puzzled and worried ! Tha ks
@@diptanubanik3593 glad to help
What strings VST did you use?
It was Spitfire Albion. Thanks
Thank you! Very helpful!
Thank you, glad it was useful!
Works perfectly for me, thank you for a nice to-the-point tutorial!✌🏼✨
Thank you!
For example, if I'm on patch 1 then press patch 1 again to boost or water. If I then change to patch 2, then back to patch 1. Will patch 1 go back to original patch 1 or the boosted patch 1?
Unfortunately it doesn't remember states as they have to be saved. So that would work I don't think.
I’ve just got one of these and can’t use the drive pedal because as soon as i switch it on all i get is heavy feedback! My set up is a Les Paul with the Nova and a marshal valve amp.. 10 ft cables between the Nova and amp with no power supply plugs with in 6 ft.. Guitar is plugged into drive on the Nova and the amp plugged into the left output … Can you advise please ? Thanks
You will need to check your input and output level settings in the the menu. Try reducing your output level from the Nova.
Then you heaps for showcasing this feature!
Pleasure, glad it was useful!
Is this the same as converting audio to midi using flex pitch data? I'm debating this ezbass vs djinnbass for this input reason tbh
Pretty much yes. I have no experience with Djinnbass but you could also use Flex Pitch.
Great recordings.Love the stereo field of your recording!!Thanks for the sound journey around the world.I really enjoyed your video.Have a nice week.Best wishes from northern Franconia.New sub👍
Thank you so much! They were all recorded with Soundman OKM Classics. Binaural has come my preferred method over all the years, even above ambisonics, due to the ability to get my head into interesting places. All the best from North West England!
Is it possible to monitor the midi bass while playing?
I know the video is kinda shot a little upside down and sideways, ha ha. But I wonder why he mounted it upside down. You can see the three mounting screws right there. I guess it really wouldn’t matter, but now the dip switches for the voltages are not accessible. Even though they can probably be accessed between the rails as well. Hmmm.
You can access the dip switches from above. It is mounted with velcro as I move boards often.
Now bout the timing. MTR without click is hard...how would you do that? As you said...its a bit of mess without
Can i record more than 4 ? How to do that?
Is this FX board as good as GX-100 ? What "flagman" processor it based on? Seems it is not A.I.R.D -based, right?
Hi Spencer. Thanks for this. I’ve been trying to do this with a Nobels ODR-1. I was told it has a momentary jack so to use the PLS or INV control but the pedal will not react. Tried all sorts of cables too. Any advice?
Hi there, good question. It should work, have you tried a trs jack?
@@NeilSpencerBruce hi Spencer. Unfortunately yes. Still didn’t find a solution for it. Only thing I found that worked was a TRS cable splitting out ot my aux MS3 switch. One into the Nobels and one into the MS3. Couldn’t get the MS3 to do it but that did end up working for now
thank you !!
Pleasure
Your MS3 video's are so good Bruce! I've come back to these so many times when I've reprogrammed my board! Thanks :)
Thank you so much, glad to know they are of use! all the best, Neil
Tbanks for this. I just went into the studio for the very first time last week to record some original songs. I’m an intermediate player, at best, but I knew my own songs well. Could I record them? Not for love or money. Finally, like you suggested, I pulled out my lyric sheet to follow along and that helped. But, so far, I have recorded a poor representation of what I can do when I’m alone practicing. Back to the studio next weekend to work on more material … and maybe try to fix what I’ve already done. 😬😬😬
Thanks for your message! You are not alone, the secret is in relaxation, but that is easier said than done! good luck with your next session!
Thanks for the review, very useful 🙂 Do you have any idea of its weight ? I'm considering buying it to take 2 guitars with me in a plane's cabin, but with the weight of the 2 guitars and the maximum allowed by the company, there's not a huge margin...
Hello, I'm wondering if anyone knows how to replace the viewfinder / eyecup piece on the Canon M50.
Great vid and update ! Just building a fly out rig now with pedaltrain classic Jr and cs6 powering the HX Stomp XL. Thanks for sharing. 🙏
Thank you!
Thank you. Concise and clear - appreciate that J
Thanks for watching, glad it was of use!
Hi. How can i use boss ms3 blend sounds: clean bass and drive sound in bass .thx
San Dimas baby. Lived there for years, in the Via Verde area. Lovely place. Just got a bluesbucker to put in my Duesenberg. Their P90 is soooo noisy.
What speaker is in your BJ and any mods? Sounds excellent
It is the stock Jensen that the amp came with, no mods on the amp. Thank you!
Using logic for a class project, this helps immensely!!!!
Glad to help
What were your recording settings for this?
The level was set at around 30-35. I never really go above 40 on the mic level as it starts to introduce noise.
I just bought it in 2024 for my home recording, I hate sitting behind a screen and this is awesome!
It is always great to escape the screen!! Good luck!
@@NeilSpencerBruce Thank you for that!
too right mate this is like a cracking old tape 4 track no screens to steal your attention
@@SuperBlackguard Totally!! :)
How do you get audio sender to pop up?
You need to make sure that the plugin is installed, it will then appear on your plugins list.
Hi Neil did you ever your MS-3 with this amp BJ ? Thanks advance
Yes I did on many occasions. Thanks for watching.
Pedaltrain must of heard you they now have a zipped pocket on the front
Haha I wonder if they did :) Make a lot of sense and is very useful!
Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for 🙂
Thank you, glad it was useful!
Dear friend, I had a hard time finding this video, because "Scaler" is misspelled in the title. You might get even more views if you correct the spelling of "Scaler." 😊
Is there a way to turn the timeline off when switching patches on the ms3?
Yu could do this via Midi, and send a CC to bypass the strymon.
I guess I could control either with the tone controls?
